Description


The School of Computing Term Project Showcase (STePS) aims to bring together and present selected student projects in the School of Computing (SoC) to facilitate independent peer learning, entrepreneurship and effective employment with modern flipped career-fair approach. In addition, STePS facilitates better assessment model through multi-party assessment of course projects. It's a festive yet serious class showcase, in which students present their projects in all aspects of computer science and information systems to the respective Faculty, Industry guests, Government agencies, Sponsors and Investors for grading, to connect with potential employers and to seek opportunities for further development of their work through collaboration with Industry and Investors. Best Project Award

Through peer-balloting, students in the participating projects will be able to vote for their favorite projects. We have arranged for about $500 worth prizes to be awarded to best projects in each track (course) as determined by popular and industry votes per class.

Garena Challenge

At Garena, we always value talents with the passion and creativity to solve problems. So, we have prepared a little challenge for you to have fun. Registered Guests of STePS, simply come to the our kiosk @ 9th STePS to collect the challenge. The first person send the correct solution to the Garena Challenge mailbox @ 9th STePS, will walk away with the grand prize of a Apple Watch 2. The Garena Challenge is open to all REGISTERED participants of 9th STePS.
